Sex
Therapy
I am a passionate advocate for people to explore and improve their sexual health and pleasure. We are subject to the influences of negative messages, myths, and inaccurate sex education. Individual and couples sex therapy provides a confidential, science-based environment in which to discuss sexual concerns.

What is sex therapy? It is very similar to traditional talk therapy, with a specific focus on discussing the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions related to sexuality and pleasure. While the practice of sex therapy is a specialty area of psychotherapy, it encompasses a broad range of concerns. These commonly include sexual desire, arousal, orgasm, and pain. People also explore cultural or familial messages about sex and pleasure. Aging, illness, injury, affairs, trauma, infertility, pregnancy/postpartum, or other transitions can have a negative impact on sexual health and pleasure. Sex therapy provides the opportunity to restore sexual pleasure and connection.
