About Me

Therapy can be a powerful and rewarding experience when there is a good fit between client and therapist.  ​I feel very fortunate to developed a career that I have enjoyed for over two decades.  I continue to feel challenged to expand my skills and learn more astute ways to support my clients.  I am delighted and honored to hold space for people as they pause to identify their emotions and needs, take risks to grow connections with others, and increase pleasure in their lives.

I received my master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Baylor University. I completed an APA-approved clinical internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where I received advanced training in the field of sexual health. I am an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at OHSU School of Medicine, teaching sex therapy to psychiatry residents. I am licensed to practice psychology in Oregon and Washington.  I currently provide individual and couples therapy with clients located in those states on a video telehealth platform. 

I completed my undergraduate and graduate education and training in the Midwest, South, and Northeast, then returned to my roots in the Pacific Northwest to settle.  I'm so happy to be back amidst the trees, mountains, and water.  Water has always represented a powerful metaphor for change in my life, and I find the sight and sound of it to be so grounding.
